Heartbeat

Today was my pregnancy check up appointment with my midwife. Everything was allright, my blood pressure was 98/58, kinda low, but it has always been like that in my prior pregnancies.

I had also the first doctor appointment when they check you out down there, everything was fine and my utherus has grown meaning there is something growing inside♡

Afterwards we checked if we could find the heartbeat, she said it could be difficult to find it this early at 10-11 weeks, but we found it, the best sound in the whole world...hearing that beat of this small life living inside you is indescribable...I cried and cried...and I cry everytime I remember that sound♡

I am now a bit more relieved after hearing the baby's heart, but I will be even more relieved after we get to see our baby this coming Monday (13.10) when we go to the first ultrasound at the hospital.

I am counting and counting the hours so it is Monday,  I am just praying that everything is okay with the baby, that everythibg looks healthy and growing like it is meant to.

A few of my favourite verses from the bible...

“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.  So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there. (1 Samuel 1:27–28)

"As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things" (Ecclesiastes 11:5)

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.  (Psalm 139:13-16)

For my baby...

Big news

I guess some of you already knew or guess... I am that type of person who can not wait! :D

So yes, we are expecting baby #3.

We somewhere around 9 to 10 weeks, we haven't been to the first ultrasound yet so then we will be able to tell exactly how many weeks along I am.

I know many of you wait to tell the news after the first trimester has gone, but I just felt like to tell, plus I have been so bloated and already showing ( yes showing! It's baby #3 you know!) that I prefer that you know that I am pregnant and not just fat.

I know also that every pregnancy is risky and many of them can end in natural miscarriage until week 20/22 so yeah, I'm taking the risk.

I am praying for it to be a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby in the end.

And as this being baby#3 after having two boys, I would not like to hear: I hope you get the girl this time or It will be a boy again. Let me tell you I have heard everything and I know!

I know the chances are high that It will be a boy again! And so what? I know I would love a girl this time but if it comes another boy I'd be happy as well, in fact we have already his name chosen.

So please be happy for us, because we are happy!  The older brothers are happy and that's what matters!

Oh and for your information!  I know I have heard from many people, always when baby#3 or #4 is coming, it's always thought to be a "mistake" I know mistakes can happen. But in our case, it wasn't!

This baby has been planned and loved from the very first time♡ just like its big brothers!

I thank God every day for the life that is growing inside of me and I leave everything in His Hands, because He knows whats best for us and His plans are perfect!

One year ago...

This is irritating, how do you keep up with your blog?

I am updating mine after one year!

And this year has gone so fast!

A few of the highlights this 2014 were:

- I am officially a Finnish Citizen! I have my Finnish passport! I feel proud I passed the language test and that Finland accepted me as one of its people.
- My mom came from Peru to visit us this summer, she's helped me a lot in watching after my boys during work.

- My oldest boy started preschool!  And the youngest, turned 4 on July and also started daycare. They both go from M-F only 4 hours a day.

- Work, work, work was very busy summer with a lot of work, thankfully we got a great person who helped us so much!

- I have another amazing news but I'll let you know about it later on.

Well, that's it, nothing else to report!

Today was the first cold day in this autumn, 0 degrees! Time to get the wool underpants on!

See you guys later!

100% finnish

I'm on my way to become officially a Finnish citizen.

Today I am going to test my Swedish language knowledge, it is a written/spoken test that last about 4 hours! Yeah...240 minutes long!

If I pass, then I'll get a certificate and then I have to apply for the citizenship.

So why Swedish if I live in Finland? Well, in Finland there is 2 official languages: Finnish and Swedish, swedish speaking Finns are only a minority ( 6 % of all Finnish population )

If I get to be a Finnish citizen, I'll have two nationalities, hot Peruvian and cold Finn :D very opposites right? :D

Let's see if I pass this test, now I only need to wait about 8 weeks to know the results.

Crossing fingers!

Few pictures...

A few pictures:

Temppeliaukion church, a few streets in the center, the scary long never ending electric stairs for the subway, my favorite bakery & cafe, my two favorite  streets, pictures from the show and the papacito ( the host ) with legs and bum to die for hahaha :)

Capital city visit

Now is

Monday, I can't believe this mini trip is over.

Time goes by fast when you are having fun!

But it was enough with three days, I guess I couldn't manage to get used to again in living in a crowded city anymore.

Many would say that they couldn't live in the country side, I did think that way before but after living there for a few years I would not change it for anything right now, the quietness, its silence, it's clean,  it's safe, etc.

But both ways:  living in the city and the countryside has its plus & minus. Nothing is never black and white.

Well, yeah, while being here with mom, we did the touristy thing :D taking a tour bus, taking pictures, going shopping... ( a bit too much maybe :D )

On Sunday we did an extra something I always wanted to do since I have lived here,  going to a live dancing tv show, you know Dancing with the stars? Yeah, they have it on here also,  weird to hear about Finnish people dancing?
Well, they do can dance, not everyone with a good rythm :) but other ones really good.

So we got the tickets from my lovely friends who works in the media and got in! Saw a few Finnish julkkis ( celebrities ) some that I knew, some I didn't at all... Saw these participants dance, the band played excellent as always, got the oportunity to talk with one of my favorite dance teacher, got a few remembering pictures and thats it!

Dream came true! :)  I actually dreamed last night :D I saw a lot of people ! And a toilet! ( I wanted to go to the wc during the show, but you get just a few minutes, and all the wcs were busy every time so I had to hold in : D )

Now, we go back home,  the two hours trip is not fun! But we will stop by Perniö Mauri Makasiini kirppis so we can stretch tve legs a little bit and find one or two hidden treasures.

See ya!

Babies babies babies

I have had " baby fever " since my last boy was born.

I said while I was pregnant with him, that It was going to be last child, but after he was born, and was on my arms, I knew and felt that it couldn't be my last child, my last pregnancy.

I have been longing for a third child forever ( a little girl-in secret ) but even if it's a boy, I'll be soo happy! He has already a name...♥

Lately, around my friends, there has been a baby-boom...babies after babies, some getting their girls after boys, and boys after having a girls ( which makes me feel in a good way jealous!) That they got their "best of both worlds" :/
And some getting a third child! Many people I know are getting their third child, it seems to be like 3 is the new 2.

According to a survey in Sweden, they talked about it, 3 is the new 2, specially more in parents who have 2 children of the same sex...like me :D

Either way, 5 feels perfect, a full hand, mom, dad and three children♥

I just leave this up to Him, our dear God, He'll do whats best for us, and everything will be beautiful at "Its" right time.

...to my dear "third" child:  I am waiting for you and I love you with all my heart, your brothers and mom & dad will love you and take care of you♥
